Bio: Giovanni Drera, with his PhD thesis "Electronic structure of TiO2 thin films and LaAlO3-SrTiO3 heterostructures: the role of titanium 3d1 states in magnetic and transport properties", is winner of the Davide Colosimo prize awarded in 2012.
